Hi there, my name is Colin, and along with my wife Mary, I established Colmar Video Productions in September 1983. I have been interested in filming the moving object for as long as I can remember. My earliest recollection was back in the 1960’s when my parents bought a home movie cine camera.
In 1980 I won an acclaimed award for a documentary film I made called “Birth of a new Sound”. This was the story of how Radio Tay in Dundee evolved, from the initial conception, through production, planning, and structural building works, to "going live", and the first on - air broadcasts.

Gaining this award gave me the impetus to start Colmar Video, and with encouragement from friends, I took the plunge in 1983. Colmar Video was born.
Weddings are our specialty, and we now have many years of experience filming and producing wedding videos, for many satisfied customers.
In addition to this, we are involved in Corporate productions, and regularly film corporate events, local stage productions and charity events.
All our videos are filmed and edited using the latest digital technology to guarantee high quality products, offered in either video or DVD format.
